Before anything is published or paid out, we confirm that every person in the content is a consenting adult who is who they say they are.

Why we verify everyone

OnlyThroat hosts adult content in a niche where trust matters. Fans want to know that the people they support are real adults who chose to be there. Creators want a platform that protects them from impersonation and stolen content. Verification is how we deliver both.

Verification applies to creators, to every co-performer who appears in any post and to fans before they can see explicit content. There are no exceptions and no shortcuts.

How creator verification works

    Government ID

    You upload a clear photo of a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a passport, a driver's license or a national ID card. The name and date of birth must be readable and you must be 18 or older.

    Liveness check

    You complete a short live selfie check on your phone or computer. It confirms that a real person is present and that the face matches the ID. Photos of photos, screens and masks fail the check.

    Creator agreement and payout details

    You accept the creator terms and add payout details for a bank transfer or a crypto wallet. Payouts are only released to the verified account holder.

    Records for 2257

    You confirm the legal name and any stage names you use, so we can keep the records required by 18 U.S.C. 2257 for every piece of content you publish.

Every co-performer is verified too

Anyone who appears in your content, even briefly, is verified before that content goes live. Each co-performer completes the same ID and liveness check and signs a model release and a consent form for the production they appear in.

The consent form confirms that the person is an adult, took part willingly, agrees to the content being published on OnlyThroat and knows they can withdraw consent for future use under the terms of the release.

If a post shows a person without a matching verified record, the post is rejected. Tagging is not enough on its own: the records must exist and match.

Fan age verification before explicit content

Public pages on OnlyThroat show safe-for-work text and teasers only. Before a fan can see any explicit content, the fan must be logged in, pass an age verification step and hold an active subscription or purchase.

The age check confirms that you are 18 or older. We store the result of the check, not a copy of your ID, unless the method you choose requires a document.

What happens with your documents

Identity documents, selfies and signed releases are used for verification, for 2257 records keeping, for fraud and abuse prevention and to answer lawful requests. They are never shown to fans and never used for marketing.

Documents are stored encrypted, with access limited to the small number of people and systems that need them for verification and compliance. Some checks are carried out by a specialised identity and age verification provider acting on our instructions.

We keep 2257 records for as long as the law requires, which can extend beyond the life of your account. Other verification data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. Read the privacy policy for your rights.

How long verification takes

Most automated checks finish within the same session. Some cases need a manual review, such as when an ID is hard to read or the details do not match, and these take longer.

If something is missing, we email you at the address on your account and tell you exactly what to send again. You can publish and earn once your verification is approved and your first upload passes screening.

When verification is refused

We refuse verification when a document is invalid, expired or altered, when the face does not match, when a person is under 18 or appears underage, or when a co-performer has not signed a release. Repeated attempts with someone else's documents lead to a permanent ban.

Can I publish before verification is approved?

No. Nothing is published and nothing is paid out until your verification is approved and each upload passes screening.

Yes. Every person who appears in any content needs their own ID and liveness check and a signed model release and consent form.

Do fans need to verify their age?

Yes, before any explicit content is shown. Public pages show only safe-for-work text and teasers.
